definitely over exceeded my expectations with those trophies

Man I've been given some cheap plastic crap over the years.....this stuff was solid and weighed as much as a brick!!!

WOW! what a fun filled day!! It was good to meet some people and put faces to their names!

I was the owner of the sky80 and when I rocked up I had no idea I would be rolling on the dyno... other wise I would have cleaned the thing! Tree Sap adds -10rwkwz!

I ended up only running ~10psi.. but stupid me thinking 0.7bar was 13psi (which it can run) and made 142.7!

Too bad there wasn't a trophy for best 4 cylinders Or WORST offset! I wanted to win :(

But thanks to the SAU team for hosting such a good day!

as me and dion discussed black smoke = potential power :P

What a fantastic day today - a credit to the entire SAU SA team that pulled together to make this happen. In my opinion, this was one of the best ran dyno days I have been involved in, and I've been doing them for 10 years!

I agree with Pete, the trophies are awesome - I am very impressed.

A big thanks to John and the crew from Southern Hitech Dyno - they were professional and efficient in keeping the day rolling on with a couple of well earned breaks to clear the lungs of carbon monoxide.....

A big thanks to all involved in organising the event!

Vu - loving the flame action :(

Andrew (Blue32) can you please post up your dyno sheet? I forgot to ask to see it today and would like to see the boost & power curves. Also what GReddy twins are you running?

What a day even though i rocked up late. Very good turn out.

Wish i still put my car on the rollers always next time. But hey i9m glad i gave my spot up to the dyno king. Was a shame i couldnt see that beast on the rollers though.

Looking foward to the next event.

Was also good to see so many new members joining on the day.

Well done to all involved in putting together a very well put on event.

I've wasted about 2 hours of my life on it...

Does anyone know how to convert Newtons to Newton-meter?

my car made 5800 newtons, and i think i've worked that out to 397Nm

didnt think there was a difference but here is a handy website

http://www.convertworld.com/en/torque/

Newtons = Force

Newtons * meters = Force * distance = Work = Power

not quite sure how u'd work out the distance the car "traveled" on the dyno =\ im sure there is a way, i just can't be bothered working it out atm =D

The dyno measures tractive effort, so that is 5800N of tractive effort.

You can set up the dyno to show actual engine torque but you ahve to enter all the details like tyre diameter as well as the diff ratio, on a dyno day that isn't going to happen due to time restraints. If you want torque when you car is on the dyno just give the operator the details and ask them to enter them.
