The previous owner of my car has put on a set of 18 x 7 (i think) RS-GT rims, this is an R33 GTS-t and it's way to narrow i don't like it. Need atleast 8.5 i reckon to make it look agressive. i have another set of Speedy wheels brand new almost that are 18x8 and they still look abit narrow.

Anyone want to buy them :D lol

try and stay close to factory spec ie. +35/38 (I could be wrong but fronts I think are 35 and rears 38 on stock wheels) so that you don't change the wheel geometry too much. 18x8.5 +35 F and 18x9.5 +35 works really well. Have a look at NZMO's (David's) black R34..

^^ in those sizes around +20 for fronts and +12 for rears but depends if ur willing to roll or lip if your car is dumped. i'm running 17x9 +22 all round with 235 45 17 all round. they fit pretty well but i'm not satisfied with them. you can allow a little bit more offset.

stick with close to factory offset specs unless you don't give a crap about affecting the wheel geometry. This is why GTR wheels have a different offset and you're not meant to stick them under a non GTR..It's not just a matter of "will it fit and fill my guards" when it comes to offset. Going wider wheels with same offset doesn't affect the driveline centre or whatever its called..

my gtst also wasn't meant to have an aftermarket computer, turbo, suspension etc...

stock ftl

those things you listed don't change the way the original items work ..they do the same thing but BETTER. Wrong offsets change your suspension geometry and affect the way your car drives and puts extra strain on many things which can break (and cost a crapload to fix) ..all for what, because peeps can't be arsed finding wheels with the right offset? No matter what your taste in wheels is, you CAN find the wheels you like in the correct offset if you look hard enough and you can get them as wide as you want if you want the aggressive look. (wide != wrong offset)

i have 18x9 +35 all round on my r33 gtst, they sit ok, but wouldn't mind putting some spacers in (bolt in). Should have gone for +20 front +15 rear but then id be asking for trouble with guards if i was to slam it any lower... nothing a few flares cant fix though

all that keeping the same offset will do is give you the same track width. how many track GTR's etc run 18x10 +12's and the likes without any issues.

and for those saying 7.5" wont fill the guards, blah blah.. you obviously have no idea about offset.

a 7.5 +15 for example, will sit further out than a 9 +38...

that said, i don't recommend 7.5" rims...

something around 18x9 +20 front, 18x10 +25 rear will be nice and tough on a 33/34.

i run 17x9 +15 all round on my 31, but the rear could ideally be 17x9 +0, or 17x10 +12 to fill the guards properly.

^^^^ they are very sensible sizes for a 32 gtr. i'm running 17x9 +22 on my 33 gtst and i don't think its tough enough. you'll need 9.5 or 10 inch wide with about +22 to +12 or there abouts for awesomeness on a 32 gtr.

these are 18x10 +18. as you can see they could use abit more offset if you want the most of those guards.
