dunno wat brand u have but i have defi, water temp is direct screw in into my greddy top rad pipe, oil temp and pressure direct screw into my sandwich plate from greddy oil filter relocation, so u at least need a sandwhich plate for that, if your water temp came with a little bit of pipe with a hole in it, you need to cut into your water hose and put it inbetween with cable ties or clamps, should all be in the kit, unless u went budget guages ?

Easy enough to DIY, I did the exact same thing with the exact same gauges not a week ago.

You need a oil sandwhich plate and a rad hose thingo with a temp sensor in it.

If your NoR I dont mind giving you a hand, or you can come look at my setup and I can help you install ?

The Autogauge ones have a bit of an odd wiring setup.

Only other thing to note is with the top rad pipe setup and the sandwhich plate your better off doing a service at the same time, saves having to drop coolant and oil just to install them.

Incoming thread highjack:

What do you guys recommend for a good quality Oil Temp gauge? (besides DEFI cause that costs a small fortune)

Autometer.. I had Autometer mechanical gauges then upgraded to cheap electric gauges (Autogauge), now upgrading to Autometer electric gauges. The temp gauges aren't that pricey (~US$60 for 2-5/8" electric half sweep), but the full sweep oil pressure gauge is US$190 and the 30psi boost gauge is US$200 :) Going for Ultralites :)

not 100% where to get one from as the dude I bought mine off threw them in. Gimme a sec ill google some and see if I can find them.

cheers mate, i appreciate it. i got a sandwich plate today, prolli get the radiator hose adaptor thing 2morrow. just trying figure out how to connect the sandwich plate? :P

is it ok to connect all three gauges to the cigerette lighter or will this just cause a fuse to blow? where do u recommend i get the power source from? also, is it the oil pressure or oil temp gauge that connects to the sandwich plate or they both do?

cheers

Run 12V from somewhere reliable (hell even from the battery), fuse that line. Run to a relay and use the cigarette lighter feed to switch the relay.

That's the principle I used when rewiring my stereo, carpc, monitor and gauges.
