Intercooler pipe question

Hi all

I dont know if this was discussed before

- just curious to weather there would be much improvement if you coverd the intercooler piping under the bonnet in heat wrap tape ?

I remember reading something about this, Who ever wrote it said something about the heat build up in the pipe and it not being able to escape. But when you think about it logically the air inside the pipe should be cool after it goes through the intercooler anyway, so try it and see what happens and post your findings
