lol yeh but not good one from the fiberglass place i went to today

got quoted $1200 for a mould :S

the other guy hasnt called me back (my mates mate) so if he can help would be the best option

fair enough... depending how many people are intersted a mould still may be alright co can be reproduced.. or even have the option of selling it to someone.. may work just a thought.

not every ones cup of tea. but i couldnt find a gtr lip, so i tried something a little different.

dont laugh when i tell you.

its a chopped up integra type r lip that i fixed onto my front bar.

cost me $120 and its made of abs plastic.

it woulda been quite durable when i was done but i hit a massive speed hump and it tore it off.

i did know it would fit. i just looked at the shape and it looked similar. took a risk.

had to cut a bit of it off in the centre as type r's are wider and the front bar was abit longer so choped abit off each side aswell.

then i used the heat gun to bend it abit and get the shape.

any pics of this 'garden edging' or a picture of what the edging actually looks like? id be interested. ive heard of people using some sort of rubber to create a lip. just never knew what type of rubber they meant.
