Hey!, Well I don't have a skyline, but I do have an S30 that's getting real close to finding itself with an rb25 nestled inside, and i was told this is the place for RB info...

that said, i also plan on eventually mating an RB head to an L block, mostly just because, but also for an engineering project i'm eventually going to have to do for school...

Welcome! Some of the S30's in the US are pretty balls out. Although... RB head on an L block is gonna be tough though, simply because they're very different engines other than both being inline 6's. Stroke the L to a 31 or 32 instead.

I'm from the middle of indiana... right where the ohio and missippi rivers meet... flooding is always fun...

anywho, yeah the RB head has the same head stud location and same size as the 20/25, and it's going to be a 3.05 ish, since i'd like to only punch it to 88 instead of 89 so it'll handle a turbo a little better... the motor is going to be run on a haltech ECU at any rate and going to be Dry sumped so that pretty much removes the need for the front cover as it's for the chain, oil pump and dizzy, and mine is going to have none of those...

the oil galleries are close ish (enough to where it can be modified) and the water passages are also relatively close, close enough to where there isn't anything that a mill and welder cant fix...
