Problem With Car When Foot Is Flat To The Floor R33

Hey all. I'm having an issue with my r33.

When I put my foot flat to the floor and get from 4500rpm up the car makes a noise like a rev limiter but much quieter. The car continues to gain revs and speed even while the noise is present.

However when I hold the accelerator even a centimeter off the floor and run it out it won't do it at all.

I'm not sure what it is, I have no idea.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey buddy,

Its most probably your coil packs. I had the same issue with my GTT. Every time i gave it the boot at around 4500 rpm, it would just sound like popping sounds coming from the exhaust. And yeah if it raise my foot a bit it would disappear. Ended up getting splitfire coilpacks for like $600 but it fixed up the problem, car runs smooth as ever now. I'd also get the spark plugs checked out while your at it.
