Quick Question About Changing Air Filter To Pod Filter

just wondering

has any1 done just an upgrade from stock air filter to a pod filter?

was there a difference in petrol consumption?

if so how much difference?

i changed i didnt see any difference but the noise.

probably be making 5KW difference on stock setup. It will make massive difference if you run a big turbo with high boost.

hey mate, i changed my stock filter to a k and n high flow panel filter and i recon it gave me about 50km better fuel economy over the stock one.. changin that to a pod though couldnt tell any diff apart from noise...

Hey mate, no difference in performance apart from noise, fuel consumption would be virtually the same if not ever so slightly worse. you wont make 5 kw extra.

some have reported loss in performance due to the pod soaking in the hot air from the engine..

if you're going to pod it up, you're best of shielding it from all the heatsoak, and running some cold air piping, otherwise its kind of pointless and you're going backwards.

Also being in NSW an open pod is a defect.
