Searched this forum, others, Google and DPI and found nothing usefull ???

I've bought an 88 A31 over from Queensland, it was previously complied and registered in NSW as an RB20DE / Auto,

In Queensland, it was de-registered, and converted to an RB20DET / 5 Speed. Everything used was straight off another Cefiro (front mount intercooler, box, mounts, interior, etc), the only trace of ever being an auto is the compliance plate and wiring harnesses inside the car.

According to the DPI, upgrading a model to a higher performance release of the same model is allowed provided that you upgrade braking packages, mounts, etc to match that of the higher performance model (so, match my DET / 5MT with DET/5MT model brakes, mounts).

Do I need to get another compliance plate?

OR

What documents do I need to register the vehicle as is (how do I provide proof of what brakes, mounts etc are on it)??

Cheers fella's

PS: Thought I posted this in WA Section?

Can a mod please relocate this ??

In S.A we need to have an engineer sign off on the modifications done to prove that it meets the standards for road worthiness. an engineers certificate costs a bit but its worth it

ring your state registration/inspection institution and they should be able to tell you. but if its like here in s.a they arent very helpful most times. maybe even try and find out the place where it got complied and ring them as they are most probably an engineering place or know someone who can help you.

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.
    • @Wazmond you are correct, my bad, was not my intent    https://www.facebook.com/share/15ZMn5oXtc/ Updated Event (so its not private and can be shared easier)  Attempting to coordinate a big push of Stagea's to this years GTR Festival. Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
