The times come for me to get a fuel system upgrade in order for me to reach my goal of 300-320rwkw in my RB25DET NEO

Ive read a couple of posts on this topic but the info was quite scattered and not very helpful

Ive got my fuel pump already and now need to know what the most common upgrade for fuel rail, injectors and fuel reg if i need one :D

So if you can post your fuel system upgrades and or any other info on this topic that would be awesome :P

Cheers

I don't know anything about the stock system for GTT but I can tell you that a stock

GTR R34 fuel pump driven directly from the battery voltage (or rather, from the alternator),

is more than capable of maintaining pressure & flow on the stock fuel rail and thru the stock

fuel piping, with an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, to at least 380kw worth of fuel

facing 1.8bar in the plenum. At least, that is what mine did/does.

that is the stock R34 pump, not even the nismo pump or

any of the commonly mentioned in-tank pump upgrades, let alone external pump setups.

injectors are a whole other thing.

Well im useing turbosmart fuel reg, siemens 550cc injectors which are a straight fit and no custom fuel rail needed etc. But I believe I have herd the standard fuel reg is fine for those power figures... I may be wrong.

it is obvious if the pump is run off a voltage regulator (fuel pump reg) and pump can't maintain pressure..

as the boost climbs at some point the pump draws too much current and the voltage regulator

(if there is one) browns out, and the fuel pressure in the rail falls off a cliff.

and yeah I think the standard fuel regulator is fine, just an adjustable one gives

the tuner more options.

All you need is

1. Injectors - around the 550cc mark are more than enough

2. Fuel pump, wired correctly. (FI Guide has information)

That's it. Anything else is wasted money.

I made 370rwkw on stock fuel reg, stock rail - as have 30-40 other people i know RB25/RB26 etc etc.

Awesome, The less stuff i have to replace the better.

Thanks allot Sam

Even better thanks man

Ive got the fuel pump in already so it looks like i just need injectors.

Wooooo

I have a set of siemens 660cc injectors for mine, i'll let you know once my turbo goes on. these cost me $450 for the set as there to suit the XR6 Turbo's so you just need to change injector plugs over to match.

Do you know how much it is to change the injector plugs?
