Bonnet Pins Into A Carbon Bonnet

Hi guys

Got some bonnet pins to put in my bonnet but i was just wondering if there is anything i should look out for or need to do to prep the bonnet so i dont damage it? Just any helpful advice would be great

measure twice, drill once

and use masking tape over the location of the hole to help stop it from fraying.

use a spade drill to drill the hole, like a No.30 and then if u can use a stepped reamer to full size the whole, will minimize and breakout and fraying and leavea clean hole
