The 040 flows alot more 235L/hr vs 200L/hr.

The bigger pump will be a slight over kill in regards

to power but, it will outlast the smaller pump as it doesn't have to work as hard, after all they are just glorified DC electric motors.

Why not buy a 1500HP rated Aeromotive pump 900lbs of fuel an hour (empty your tank in a couple of minutes) HOW COOL IS THAT! Only $1300!

It is not that hard, the only modification you need to do to the mount bracket is to shorten one metal tube, you just hold the new pump on with a big hose clamp. You will need a fitting to go into the pump the same size of the hose id, and I machined a fitting for the bottom of the pump that the stock filter pushed onto. The 044 only justs fits into a 32(I mean by like 5mm) so you should have no problem with the smaller ones.

If you do other mods on your car and are not afraid of having a go there is no reason you cant do it yourself.

i fitted a bosch "019" pump to my brothers r32 not long ago.

the 019 is the same as the 040, good for over 450 hp easy!!

any mug could change it, we had it running inside of an hour and that was being cautious, taking our time.

all you need is a large hose clamp and a hacksaw to modifiy the bracket.
