I have never been in anything with a turbo in it before let alone owned one...

Is this a normal level of boost... and how do i read the gauge like as in PSI.

This is a 2001 M35 Stagea

Here a couple of vids

First one is taking of from about 10kmh flat stick to about 85-100kmh

vid 1

The second is me cruising at about 80kmh and giving her a quick jab at the end...

vid 2

Thanks

We were discussing this in another thread just recently, do a search. I think the readout on the one you have is +1 Bar (14PSI), which is as high as you should run a ceramic setup if you want it to last.

Has nice pickup, something is definatly modded I reckon, my RS doesn't pick-up that well.

Has it got an aftermarket piggyback? If not I don't see what they are going to tune unless you are seeking someone to remap the factory ecu.

The turbo could be fine but so far 2 or more have lost turbo's, the ceramic one's just don't last forever.

How would the guy you brought it off know, they do little things here and there in Japan before they get here, who know's what goodies it's got :)

I just need a good mechanic that knows stageas to service it all for me.

The guy I use at the moment has never worked on one in his life::.

I'm sure someone here from QLD will advise you of a workshop familiar with M35's.

It's definatly the way to go though, if you are going to get someone else to service it etc. make sure you use someone who know's these cars.

I had my last service done by Hornsby Nissan.

Not for a stock RS. The needle should have stopped at just before the "+1" (+0.8).

"pickup" seems about right for the stock unit though.

actually 1 bar is 14.5psi :)

Yes. Yes it is.

Afterall, what good is a halfy!

I was going to say half a bar but we talking PSI now, spoil sports
