MearCat - I'm not sure how the tractive effort shown on the dyno printouts relates to Nm, BUT - I think the LB stands for foot-pounds, which you could convert to Nm which is Newton meters. 1 inch = 0.0254 m and there's 2.2 lbs (pound) to 1 kg and to convert from kilograms to Newtons you want to multiply it by gravitational accelleration which is 9.8m/s^2.

Therefore the sum to go from LB to Nm should be:

Nm = LB x (0.3048 x 9.8) / 2.2

Simplified, Nm = LB x 1.358

BUT - I don't think the tractive effort shown on the dyno printout is actually relative to foot punds of torque..
