You wont find an adapter, no one will make one as the car is pre 1990. do you have a test light? basic electrical tools? a soldering iron? and a basic knowlage of car electronics? if no, dont bother attempting and take it to a professional.

EDIT: Also noticed your in adelaide.where abouts in adelaide are you mate?

Agree with the above, if you're not comfortable with auto electrics and hacking up your factory wiring seek help in the flesh. One of my mates managed to fry the ecu in his ford because he thought he knew how to install a stereo, expensive lesson.
