hey guys,

my brother has a 2000 nissan skyline r34 25gt non turbo 2.5 (auto)

i was wondering if its ok to change the muffler or diffback section of the exhaust to a free flowing (louder exhaust) like a canon or something.... will the stock ecu be ok with this? any issues i should be worried about?

cheers

It wont do a great deal. But it wont sound to shit hot either..

what do you mean it won sound to hit hot?

wont it sound nice with an exhaust on it... at the moment its stock and all you hear is engine noise...

N/A Skylines with loud exhausts just dont do it for me, nor alot of people.

It wont sound bad if you can find a decent exhaust setup, but if its loud, it will sound rude.

yea i realise it wont sound as good as a turbo skyline.... but he is on his p's.... and wants the car to sound tougher than stock untill he buys a GT-T when he is off p's.....

will a muffler or diff back affect th air fuel ratios? or anythin to worry about? wont lean up will it? if anyhin im assumin it will rich it up abit?...... will be safe?

i got a 3" Trust Stainless Steel Catback on my R34 N/A and she sounds awesome....dosent have the wet fart sound that most N/A's have :)

and + 1 for catback exhaust sytem to a cannon
