For sale is my absolutely unique 2003 Nissan Skyline 350GT Premium Edition which is THE ChargeSpeed demo car and workshop entry in the Tokyo Auto Salon, 2007. It came runner up in the "Sporty Car" category at this show.

Here is the web address for the results page:

http://www.e-autosalon.net/2007ver/tokyo/c...007/sporty.html

I still have the competitors' certificate as well...

The car has all the usual premium edition options (Bose 10 speaker audio system, audio controls on the steering wheel, dual zone climate control, etc), with the exception of the leather/suede interior: the rear seat has been replaced (in Japan) with an alcantara item from the sport model.

It is a 2003 6sp manual 350GT with Brembos, and has travelled 84000km. It is registered until Jan 2010, and comes with the Qld personalised plates (CFV35) pictured.

I have kept the car as it was shown at TAS, with the exception of a Nismo guage kit (reads 15600km), English buttons for the screen/nav, and full ipod integration. I will supply the original guage cluster with the sale.

Modifications performed by ChargeSpeed are as follows:

ChargeSpeed fibreglass front bumper

ChargeSpeed fibreglass side skirts

ChargeSpeed fibreglass rear bumper

Chargespeed fibreglass headlight covers/eyelids

Chargespeed carbon fibre front bumper lip

Chargespeed carbon fibre front bumper inserts

Chargespeed carbon fibre front grille

Chargespeed carbon fibre bonnet

Chargespeed carbon fibre side mirrors

Chargespeed carbon fibre roof spoiler

Chargespeed carbon fibre bootlid

Chargespeed carbon fibre bobtail bootlid spoiler

Chargespeed carbon fibre rear diffuser

Chargespeed carbon fibre scuff plates

Chargespeed carbon fibre fully reclining bucket seats

Advance coilover suspension

Titanium exhaust tips

and Racing Hart 19"x9" front and 19"x10.5" rear wheels, running Dunlop Direzza tyres. The carbon fibre parts take a very significant amount of weight out of the car, with a corresponding increase in performance, so even though it is mechanically stock, it goes, stops and handles significantly better than a standard car. Also, the carbon fibre parts ore of extremely good quality, and it shows: absolutely beautiful wide weave that looks DEEP, unlike the Chinese knockoffs you see going around...

The car is in very good condition throughout, with the odd stone chip and interior scuff, as you would expect from a car that has travelled over 80000km.

The asking price is $42000. NO SWAPS!

It has been an absolute pleasure to own as a weekender, but has to go to finance the completion of my Stagea project car.

It will be sorely missed...

42k huh?

Wow...i have to say...

I think that would be worth every cent.

That's such a clean car...and you're a lucky mofo for getting your hands on it!

Good luck with the sale rb26stagea

Cheers guys: thanks for the comments!

It wasn't easy getting the car here, and I doubt I'd go through it all again, given the chance: I had to import another complete car so that I had the parts to use for compliance, which was not a cheap excercise!

It's a damn nice thing to drive: I do love it, but my Stagea is getting to the point (new engine time) that it's going to require significant funds be thrown at it, so the other toy has to go...

I had a look and drive of this car on the weekend

You have to see it in person. Great car and worth every cent with amount of quality mods.

Good luck with the sale

Well worth the trip to see this car.

BUMP! For anyone interested, 99% chance that the car will be entered in the Show 'n Shine at Jamboree.

I am interested in swaps and cash my way: need a good daily, as my Stagea will now be relegated to weekend warrior duties...

it's bumping time again!

C'mon guys: it's cheap, it's unique, and it's a great drive!

I'm looking for swaps for a R32/R33 GTR and cash my way...

Bumping.

C'mon guys: really need a daily now, but don't have the space for an extra car...

I will accept REASONABLE offers, but it's already damn cheap: there's a good $20k of aftermarket parts alone...

The graphics are all vinyl, so can be removed if you wish...

    • Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product
    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
