Is A Car Heavier On Fuel After Raising The Boost 1 Bar?

Probably a simple and silly question, but its one i dont know the answer to.

Would a car be a bit heavier on fuel after raising the boost 1 bar above standard?

Any info would be appreciated.

Increased boost with a tune or just an increase in boost?

hey mate,

boost was increased 1 bar with the tune.

however, the car is now running standard boost and just wondering if it will be even more efficient this way!?

It will only use more fuel if you use more boost than stock. It's the same fuel efficiency up to the stock boost pressure no matter what max boost your running

no as 99% of the power curve NEVER intersects the cruise part of the map (make sure his was tuned properley to start with), the cruise side of things is unchanged with boost changes.

Bear in mind if you boost everywhere it will be affected.

Below is a quick screen grab from a rb20 making 285rwkw and returning 540-ish kms per tank.
