How To Change The Ugly Automatic Stick

Anyone changed there auto stick in their 34? how hard is it? tried searching for this but cant find any info.

yes. and no its not too hard...from memory u need a few tools and patience. one part was tricky...

sorry i changed mine a year or so back so cant remember all the details.

put the selecter down towards you as far as it will go then look on the side thats closest to the dash, should be some screws there.

Not sure yet i have this one at home but have to see if it will work, im not sure it will cos the button u press to change is on the side atm and this one its on the top. so dont kno, suppose ill find out when i remove the standard one.

Jack88 was spot on here. 2 screws on the back of the actual knob itself. very easy turned out. would of been even easier if i actually remembered where i put the black rubber spacer thing that allows the new knob to fit snug over the stick. had to go bunnings and find a rubber fitting. looks much better than the original stick

to make it look better you will need a gearbox, pedal box, clutch and everything else to make it manual....

I know this is an old thread but Im stuck I just bought a MOMO auto shifter with top button, and have no idea how to install it.

Anyone got a step by step guide? where do i put the black spacers, screws etc.

I am able to get the old stick off fine, just cant seem to piece the new one onto the stick properly.

Any help appreciated!
