Rb25 Misfiring After Making Ecu Standard

Yer its strange, misfires alot with heavy load.

It did misfire at one stage with the power fc but i simply pulled the coilpack loom off and shook it around and it was fine...

Plugs where changed fairly recently, havnt checked for fouling yet.

Could it be the standard computer isnt used to the mods it has? (turbo back exhaust, pod, fmic, running boost of actuator)

how much boost r ru running it could be that its to much for the for the standard ECU and not enough fuel getting to motor also have u checked ur spark plugs. one more thing do u have standard Air flow meter if not then thats ur problem the std ecu doesnt recognise aftermarket AFM's like a Z32 or any of the other ones.

Running actuator boost so 6psi, will check plugs soon. No the AFM is definitely standard

Seems to vary what time it does it too, will be really bad for a while then not so bad

it will be your coils or plugs. the stock ecu will be running richer than the pfc so it needs a stronger spark to ignite the fuel.

good idea, didnt think about that. ill just gap the plugs down if the computer doesnt learn its being a douche

not the computer! just ALOT of crap on the plugs, some water around the coil aswell........ and grease around another... WTF

going to replace plugs
