Autronic Sm4 Feedback.

Hi Fellas,

I've recently sold my PFC to upgrade to an Autronic SM4 (get rid of those pesky AFM problems).

Anyway, could the people running an SM4 provide me with some feedback as to the computer?

Has anyone had any problems or hic-ups with the ECU?

I'm spending alot of money to get this supplied, fitted, and installed, so any heads up advice would be choice.

Not as good as others for accurate timing control with the factory nissan cas, This was first hand experience, when we changed to a real crank trigger all was fine. Ather than that its a nice ecu. If you dont ever use datalogging or the ecu yourself for street tuning i would get a link g4/vipec. Better value.

Fantastic ECU - like other ECU's has had problem with the factory crank angle sensor - however the latest firmware should have fixed it. Talk to SAS(Silverwater Automotive Service) about how crank input setup should be configured.
