Has anyone swapped out their diff fluids yet, what did you use and how did it go?

Do any of you get the locker style binding/chatter on low speed turns? (a lot of the USA guys seem to get it).

The stocker fluid is Castrol SAF-XJ 75W-140, and a lot of the USA guys are using Motul Competition gear oil 75W-140 which is available here readily too.

Thoughts?

How about you try WR35DF....its superior in terms of high temperature track performance and anti-bind to anything else out there :(

I'm wondering when is a good time to change out the diff fluid. i'm at 6200 km's now not sure if I should of done it already?

Sammy its up to you, however the GTRs we build for clients, we change it out straight away. As for your instance, yes, you would notice the change and smoothness (reduced chatter and binding) of the diffs straight away :(

Thanks Mitch. You'll be hopefully shipping my transmission back to GC in a few days, it will have your special Willall racing Trans oil put in and your transmission cooler attached when reinstalled. After i've seen how it drives i'll probably place an order for the diff oil in short order as well. I've read so many good reviews on forums of people around the world with your oils in their R35's. Just need to experience it first hand before replacing it myself in all area's of the car.
