The endurance type races give you mucho XP. Being lvl 30 something I now have a Muira concept, Veyron, Reventon, 599 (I think?) etc. So you get some pretty decent cars for nothing. The enduros have also instantly put the cars I have completed with to lvl 5. Handy. They take about an hour.

I don't have a Veyron yet, though I was racing one in my Mines R34 on that track with that MASSIVE straight (called Le Mans something) Damn that thing could catch up!

How do you get to do the enduro races?

Go to event list, the one instead of season play and you can just scroll across to them, they are the 100K+, 30+ lap ones.

S class is at Sebring, full circuit, worst track in the history of things that need tracks, I'd rather race my Reventon underwater, in a volcanoe, while getting head from a pirahna.

oh and some cars don't carry enough fuel to make it all the way...My GT2 started to sputter on the last lap and I had to go as far back as I could on rewind, chuck a u-turn and pit. I had just finished the previous enduro without stopping. I was near a minute ahead, won by less than a second.

Hmm I should check if you can edit the driver or change the driving position, in the super 2000 I couldn't see anything because the wheel was in the way. I've left the HUD on anyway but I think it would be cooler to run without the HUD, the in car guages are accurate.

I might give an enduro race a go this arvo, if I have any decent cars up for the challenge.

I'm raping the R3 tournaments with my Z32 and ripping R2's to shreads with the Mines 34. cbf go back and do all the like E and F class races though :)

anyone flipped badly yet? I keep going too fast over ripple strips and end up flipping. Rolled the Mines 34 end over end doing that.

All the enduros are worth doing, plus if you use a lvl 0 car you'll get lvl 5 in one race making parts for better cars cheaper, it's win/win

I like how you can capture videos so you can share them. More games need this feature!

Here's a couple of my videos

That mountain track is pure awesome. Shame the new GTR isn't in the game, hopefully it will be available as download content later on.

There's no stock standard R35 (which I'm kinda cut about) but there are 5 JGTC R35s in there to choose from.

I went through my affordable car list before (that's a nifty feature! Lists every car from worst to bad that you can afford!) and some were locked out, so I'll be doing the DLC stuff tonight me thinks...

    • I have a VALCON if anyone wants it, I have no idea why you'd want to have VVT specifically broken out of the ECU as opposed to running it off the FCON/whatever standalone you have.
    • Hi Yes we're a bit optimistic we might get something out of sealing up the two pipes of the external wastegate and reactivating the stock one. I believe the orginal stock wastegate was tack welded shut. It doesn't budge and visually looks closed and sealed. The car has noticeably more lag so it could be at least part of the problem, maybe all. It's definately one of the key changes made since last tune. And it's one that's more difficult to fully understand and measure, not like for instance timing or cylinder compression.  Thanks for that feedback, we'll let you know how this progresses. Fingers crossed.   Regards Rob
    • Transplanting the vvt from a 25neo into an rb26?
    • Well, I was going to say, "Is the wastegate set up so that it is not leaking?" That's actually a different thing to what you're asking about. In theory, if you have allowed the two halves of the manifold to commmunicate (more than the stock manifold does - which is at least a little bit) then the negative effect should be apparent in delayed spool, not in outrigth power. OK, maybe just maybe, a badly set up twin scroll wastegate "crosstalk" might kill the top end, although it's hard to see how. What is happening with the original wastegate in the turbo? is it sealed off properly. If it's left flapping in the breeze, it will f**k everything up. If it is still there, and can be returned to service, I'd be capping off the external (presuming the two halves can and will be isolated from each other after doing so) and have a go with just the stock wastegate. I have an internal wastegate in my highflowed rear housing. The bigger opening and flapper should be fine to >250 rwkW. So there's not exactly a pressing reason to have the external. Done right, an external will give better results. Done wrong, it might just be possible to have worse results. Report back!
