Right,

Well just went down stairs and saw the new MY10 Subaru Liberty, completely all new model..

I have to say, i'm not a fan:

Tell me what you guys think.

Side on it just looks horrible.

The rear..well..i'm not even going to comment.

The only semi decent part on it is the interior/possibly headlights

At least when they made the the Impreza so FUGLY it was not a good looking car to start with, I have always been a Subbie fan and love the Liberties, the current car is one of my favorite designs, sleek, smooth, understated but very easily becomes aggressive, brilliant.... THAT IS F****NG HORRIBLE

look at the B4 then. I have already started sourcing audio bits for the 2010 model. interior isnt that bad and if they dot eh navi option all the better.

(yes I'm a suabru driver as well - mines a '88.)

exactly, the one above looks fantastic.

I have a mate with a my05 outback with the 3 litre boxter 6 and it's a lovely car.

The new Liberty/Outback range is having a 3.6L option.

And i believe (may be wrong) the GT Liberty is getting an upgraded engine..i'll have to sus that out though..i swear i remember hearing it would be a 3.0L Turbo

    • Last year I got a set of MCA street coilovers for my turbo Forester after my son hitting a concrete gutter/wall on a small bridge causing the whole drivers side suspension to get bent because the rain just made the car slide out I love them, I think they were $2400. even had a hiccup of have the wrong hub configuration (my fault) so got onto MCA and they sent the correct shock ends overnight parts from QLD, for free!  I was very impressed with their customer service and quality of the product
    • They've had some weird failures on their brake actuators. One of them was because they added some kind of lubricant to the factory fill brake fluid that aftermarket brake fluid didn't have so it would affect the seals. Another was just mysterious, probably internal corrosion or something eating away at Prius brake actuators. Parts alone for those are a few thousand USD so not a cheap fix.

    • KYBs are typically twin tube, putting them in the lower tier of desireability. Do you just want to replace worn out ones for the lowest cost? I mean, you wouldn't just replace one end of a car, if the rears are a similar age to the fronts, then they are probably nowhere near what they should be, and likely won't be great against brand new fronts. So, to spend ~$800 on 2nd tier dampers, when you could get a decent set of MCA coilovers for <$4k.....? As to the strut tops. 1st up, the Sparesbox site specifically tells you that they are not correct for an R33. Beyond that, why do you think you need them?
    • That's not very Toyota of the Toyota!
