Rb30 Lower Timing Belt Gear, Help Please

hi all, these forums are great, spent hours researching here.

Im having a ridiculously hard time getting the lower cam belt gear off the crank on a rb 30.

i cant get a puller behind it, I've tried heating it up with a mapp gas torch while cooling the crank down by squirting water in the hole and levering it off. its moved about 1-2mm. i got angry with it last night and i think i might have damaged the oil pump housing . I've never had so much trouble before usually they pretty much slide off don't they?

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. cheers!

You mean the belt gear behind the balencer? they are supposed to jsut slip off, i find the harder ones need crowbar persuasion...

i copt it with mine there is nothing u can do i got a angle grinder and grinded it off. go to wreckers and get one off a vl because the vl pulllys have threads in there so u can use some sort of a puller.
