Bought a 2003 M35 today :(

Got a fairly good price on it imo, $15,250 inc on roads.

Grabbed this one:

Bit of minor body damage - scratches but no dents. Took it for $15,250 which I was happy with. Apparently they had them sitting there not moving as they weren't advertised online so to make room for new cars they slashed the prices and put em online.

Judging by the average prices on carsales and such for this year, model with these factory options (no sunroof, but I don't want or need one) and these kms I see advertised for $19k-$22k plus on roads.

I shall post photos as soon as I take ownership on the 13th - I'm going to Melbourne so picking it up the day after I get back. Yes, useless post but none of my friends know what a Stagea is nor would they care :)

Well done.

Seems like a good buy.

There's no doubt you will enjoy it.

No doubt Chris, you'll be the one doing the alarm install :) Dunno how good your memory is but a few years back I was considering getting a skyline and spoke to you about alarms for the skylines and you seemed like the man for the job on a skyline so it follows that you're the man to see for a stagea!

Ohhh, of course final purchase is subject to a full inspection from a mechanic. I don't know enough about these (or any models) to inspect.

On a side note, does anyone know who I'd see about getting a full cage installed (not just cargo barrier + gates). I am not entirely sure who can legally install such a thing (and create it) as I imagine it probably involves welding onto the car body. I don't mean specific people, just what occupation deals with such things as there wont be a ready made product to suit.

Thats a very good price!! Mine had 40,000 less km on the clock and was only ~$1K more last october (excl onroads), but that was directly imported through a friend, so getting it for that price from a dealer is very good!!

Enjoy it, they're a very nice car - particularly considering the price. No other wagon comes close to offering the same level of features/quality for anywhere near this price.

Sorry to hyjack the thred. But Chris what soughta prices would i be looking at for a half decent alarm/imobiliser installed? I'm in brissy too. Would it be a weekend job?
