Here everyone just cuts the diff off and plugs the holes for the shaft (I've seen both welded and just a freeze plug. Makes for a stronger block, seals better, and IIRC holds a little more oil.

I believe both sets of holes are on the blocks, however so you could use the 33 sump.

yes the stagea rb25s have both set of holes for both types of sumps

the only problem is the oil pick up is different location between the rwd and the 4wd
