Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting some new rims for my car, and have found some awesome websites, but none of them have stores located in Victoria.

I'd really like to at least see the wheels in the flesh before I made my decisions, except the only places near where I live supply those ugly, cheap rims you always see on Falcodores.

Any recommendations on who I could call and visit?

Thanks.

By the way, I live in Frankston, so would rather eastern/south eastern stores if possible.

ask the interstate companies for freight prices

would only be a few hundred dollars for a set of wheels - if that

I know, just worried that they'll look different in the flesh than when they're prettied up for the camera.

Anyone had any experience with buying interstate like that? Some nice wheels on St George Tyres that I like the look of, just worried they'll come in as the wrong offset, he the brakes, etc.

The ONLY guy you should purchase wheels off is Jesse Streeter.

Fair enough, you cannot see them in person, but he will bend over backwards to help you out. I think I sent around 30 emails to him before deciding the right size, offset and colour of my TE37's.

I bought my wheels from Thuy at J-Imports indirectly from Japan. Ray's LMGT4's (18x8.5,18x9.5) in black. I would buy wheels from him again. In Springvale.

Definitely worth checking out what Nam has available. Msg PhantomR32.

Also heard great things about Streeter.

Cheers.

used to be streeter's housemate I think... dunno what they're up to these days, haven't spoken to him in ages.

ah ak

meh ill just stick to jesse

he got my 32 coilovers and now the rims for the ke55

both times no hassles

What sort of price am I looking at for a nice pair of rims? I'm not looking for anything rare, classic or special. Just something that'll nice suit the car with a bit of width in the rears and doesn't have a ridiculous offset (like my current ones).

The front page has some spelling mistakes and nearly zero information.

What have you bought off him?

I occasionally need to source things from Japan and a good supplier would be nice....
