Has anybody got an interior pic of their car (preferably R33) with single (not double) A-Pillar mounted gauge? I wonder how high it will be and any drilling to the trim required? I'd like not to have to drill into any factory trims anymore, keep my car clean....

Need to see some pics / info fast... gonna install this saturday, so time is running out for me...

you will have to drill into the original side pillar. Or at least screw it in with the single pillar. Not sure if the ones that cover the whole pillar u need to drill into. Another option is to maybe glue it onto it With like silicon or double sided tape...u can get it off reasonably well, and if your thinking about how easy it would be for a thief to steal it it wont make a difference if its drilled in or glue they will yank it out anyways.

rs73 - pop down to your local hardware store and grab a tube of black silicon and go nutts :)

I had mine (double one) screwed in and it squeaked and rattled a bit. I got the $hits and siliconed to sucker on there and now it's perfect :D

drilling is something i hate to do as my interior is almost flawless, I dun wanna spoil it. some double tape may leave nasty mark once it's time to get it off.

jay95r33, can't you do it with normal, clear, silicon? as I got these at home.

on other thoughts, what about velcro? anyone tried this?

with double sided tape thier might be some left over glue that u can remove somewhat easily. I assume u have the pillar already..so experiment. The silicon should be okay since its not like a glue that melts into the plastic, you should be able to get it off. In most cases u can pull it off with some force.
