Fixing Boot

Hey

My boot wont stay open all the time. when its open if the wind blows just alittle it would just fall down and it really hurts..... anyways ive figured out that its a strut thingy [not sure what its call]. where can i get this fixed?? would i need a new one??

They can recondition it for you. If its beyond repair, then they may have a replacement, if not, off to nissan you go.

p.s. if you have an aftermarket wing on the boot which is heavier, this will also be a problem.

On my 33 after puttign the GTR wing on, the struts are not quite strong enough to hold the boot up in a decent wind.

Sunny, they're the boot struts. 5 minute job to replace, use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the clips off, pull it off, and push the new one on. Piece of piss.
