Hi All,

the other day when i went to get some new tyres put on (Kumho KU31) the guy was about to do a wheel alignment and was checking the brakes and the suspension parts and he advised the front lower control arm bush needs to be replaced.

questions

1. has anyone else experienced this?

2. if so where have you taken to get fixed and how much should i be expecting to pay.

Regards

Is it the lower control arms or the lower compression rods.

I had to do the compression rods in my stagea and that was $650 as i had to buy new rods from Nissan. If its the lower control arm inner bushes then you can buy Noltec bushes from whiteline for the 350Z these are the same as the V35's & M35's

I just had the RACQ report on a 350GT that Im looking at come back with split inside lower controll arm bushes as well. Any ideas on cost to repair? I want to try to get a few more dollars of the cars price.

Just got a quote from a workshop on the Gold Coast: $55 for the bushings, 2-3 hours work for both sides.

Hey red dragon...i called nissan and asked about the 350z bushes but got told that they only sell the whole control arm including bushes ($295each) for parts only. need to go back to them with the vin # for the V to see what they can do for a V35 specific part ill let you know once i have done that.

i got quoted by tyrepower $250 each side for replacing the bushes only with aftermarket variants, but not sure what brand they would use.

i'm going to call around a bit more and see what else i can find.

Hey guys my rear shock bush is tearing, thanks to the whiteline list I've found the bush. Now I'm wondering if they can be replaced on the car or if I'm going to have to take the rear axel off and get them bench pressed. Does anyone know someone who can do this quick and painlessly?

I bought this bad boys 1-2 months ago. The mechanic told me it's genuine OEM when he received the parts from me. I paid 200$ for labour.

Hope that helps.

you can get genuine compression rod bushings, but not LCA bushings.. those in the link will likely be febest bushes.. probably ok, but not genuine by any means.

EDIT-.. actually with a part number like NAB-089, I guarantee they will be febest bushes.
