How long should it take for the fuel lines to drain before i unplug them??? i just tried then and fuel went pissing everywhere lol oops >.>

1-2 hours?

hmm, that shouldnt be happening if the car is off. when i changed my fuel pump, i ulled the lines and only a bit came out (this was after leaving it overnight when the other one crapped itself).

I think it would only piss out petrol if u change it straight after driving, or if ur ignition is on, but obviously u wouldnt wannna leave it on while u change the pump.

goos luck with it

i let it stand for 20mins and still had quite a bit of pressure in it..

ill give it another go in like 1hour i geuss..

dont wanna wait to long gotta do it in the light..

thanks, muchly anyway

yeah mine died at night, i had another one and knew how to do it, but had no light, so i called the useless racv guys to help, and the guy was like " its not a job for us"..all i wanted was a bit of light and some tools..farrken pissed me off,, anyways lol i had to wait till the morning.

A few hours should get rid of the pressure,, hope it goes well
