Exhaust Size On R34gtt

Hi guyss, I have 3.5in turbo back to the high flow cat and from the cat back, its 3inch.. im not sure if this is right or good?? I had 2.25 on my civic before and instead of gaining power, i was losing heaps of it! So now in my quest for power, the exhaust on my car came to my mind again. Its a r34gtt auto with FMIC, air filter, Nistune, EBC.

Its fine, unlike n/a cars turbo vehicles dont really need any back pressure.
