Installing A Greddy Turbo Timer

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Greddy Turbo Timer? If so, was a vehicle specific adaptor required?

The timer will be going on a r33 series 2 25t. The exact timer can be seen in this link -

Note the words - "If you need a vehicle specific harness, check GReddy's website, provide the part # when ordering".

I have done some research and from what i can tell, the cars in this list will need one -

But can anyone please confirm if a r33 skyline will / will not need one?

you don't need one, but i guess it would be easier if you had one...

Took about 30-45 mines to install mine from memory (long time ago),

i bought one with plug end on it, i plugged it straight in to what looked like the right harness under the dash and wat do u know, it worked lol. didnt think mine was vehicle specific but maybe it was by fluke.

Bought the same one as you..... You can either get the plug so it's nice and easy straight in...OR you have to get it solidered on.. a lil harder to install by yourself...Unless your handy wit a soldiring iron.. You can get the install guide of Greddys website..

How much did it cost? If your turbo is water cooled too (most likely) i wouldn't of bothered.
