Hey guys, I've owned these turtles since late last year.

But I can't afford to give them a nice big tank they deserve.

The small guy is an Eastern Long neck. Estimated to be maybe 2 years old. 13cm shell diametre. Rare to find em so small.

$150

The big one is a Short neck. Shes bigger and also rare (unlike the long necks)

$200

They are easy to take care of. Just feed them. And provide hours of cute entertainment. They have heaps of personality and recognise you when you step up to the tank.

If you want to take both off my hands I'll give you the 4foot tank(cracked), the pump, the heater, and the UV light (since they are reptiles they require a special fluorescent light.

After its set up they are easy to maintain. Feed them once or twice a week and that's it.

It is illegal to own or sell these turtles without a Basic Reptile Licence (R1)

No animal may be transferred from one keeper to another without appropriate licensing. This is the law, and a mandate from the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

In Sydney that is the case, but not in Melbourne.

I'm originally from Sydney and that applies there, down here they actually sell turtles in the pet shops and you don't need a licence for long or short necks.

    • Yeah was thinking that. I've had the car go lower idle possibly around 650rpm every once in a long time after pouring fuel and would sound quite rough like a misfire, almost like it's shit fuel or something but who knows.

Great event last year and hoping for the same this year.    I've emailed them to ask to set a location aside for the Stageas for the show and shine - they are happy to do so if we can get them numbers, I'm happy to keep track of that. Entering as Nismo category.    I'll be road tripping up from Melbourne, would be cool to convey if people are interested, maybe there is SAU convoys from each capital? If you have ideas about that let me know.    https://gtrfestival.com.au
