Does Anyone Have A Dvd-rom Unit Out Of Their Car

Posting here as not everyone reads other bits of the forum: I'm working on a project to convert the Japanese Car computer functions to English. This will be all the display stuff at this stage but not the GPS maps (although that may be possible).

I need a DVD-ROM unit from a car as a discovery unit and I don't want to wait until I can pull mine out in a month. IF anyone is able to lend me one (if you've pulled one out to replace the unit or something) then you'll receive a free English language conversion and the grateful thanks of lots of forum members.

I would have had after last weekend but it proved to be too much of a mission as basically the whole dash and console has to come off to get at it and it just wasn't cost-effective for me to do it after having gone through all this just some weeks ago to install my new amp.

Hmm, not sure why it won't work.

I did test it before I posted it and it worked, but obviously it does not now... whatever.

Just do the big search (M35 in the browse field), you will find it in there... somewhere.
