most "hi-flo" cats will probably FAIL emissions tests, all those X-Force Hi Flow Cats are useless, might as well not run a cat because they don't meet emissions requirements.

I believe the only Brand that dares to say their EPA compliant are Catco.

I have a metalcat, it lasted for just a shade short of 12 months before getting the death rattle. this was with a mildly tuned 250rwkw. no high egt's perfect afr's.

it hangs on the wall of my garage. i will never go one again,

Is getting a "legal" CAT actually required or is it just marketing hype?

Consider this:

If a car hypothetically meets the IM240 emission testing standards with a "non-legal" CAT.....is the car legal?

Conversely, if a car hypothetically doesn't meet the IM240 emission testing standards with a "legal" CAT......is the car legal?

Thoughts?
