Oh, thats right, you still have a speed limiter...

Thanks Andy, its a bit far to take it, but I will call if the local specialist has trouble.

Speak to TJ (RBPOWA-TJ) about where he took his. He has an S2, but they may be able to help.

Also Knox Automatics install MV's kits.

Thanks Cam, I will call them tomorrow. I will have to tame the right foot for a while, I blew the budget this week...

Is this the same auto behind anything sold here? Maxima? They probably have the kit on the shelf, they just wont know it.

well, i paid $450 for mine and i thought that was a great price! so something similar, but i wouldnt go over $600.......

That's a f*ck'n good price man!

New, they will set you back anywhere from $750 to $1,200 (!!)

You will also need at least a Universal Harness to hook it up to an M35 (as Scotty's had)

Ok, it seems there may be an issue with the cpu not telling the gearbox there is power coming on, The box must require a signal to the actuator its not getting, which is why its slipping in 4th and 5th. Cihan is hoping to look at it again on Saturday.

I have found only criticism from automatic repairers locally, and the boss at MV is away untill Monday.

Not a real problem, more just the way he tricked the ecu. To raise efficiency he told the ecu there was less air entering the engine than there really is. We dont know why the box doesnt like it, but he tells me there are plenty of other ways to adjust mixture. I guess someone had to jump in first, I knew it wasnt going to be a basic tune.

Once Cihan sorts this one, he will have no probs with the next. I told him theres lots of interest in how this turns out.

All of a sudden 200-210kw's at the wheels is looking very achievable

Interesting on what you a saying about the gearbox.....can the emanage not control the gearbox at all through the ECU? Can you change the rev limiter settings? Also does the emanage get rid of the speed limiter?

Edited by Jetwreck

nah it doesnt look hard at all!!

new turbo and maybe injectors are a must tho. the turbo runs out of puff too easily....

cant change the rev limited, its a piggyback, its set by the ECU, and yes the ultimate CAN get rid of the speed cut
