Police Frequency Help

just got me a Uniden uh078sx it is a 40ch cb plus 20 manual programming channels anything between 450 and 512 MHz. so are any of the police on between these frequencies

how many decimal places will it allow for the frequencies?

Im afraid to say there isnt any in those bands.

Normally itll be around 415-440Mhz or the GRN Bands.

Also, all police frequencies are on the digital Motorola Trunking network.

Even if you did get a digital scanner, you still wouldnt have the password for the encryption unless you live in the country?

469.050 was used regularly a while ago. but i doubt with the new digital network, that its used much anymore.

I believe they're in the 500MHz range now and your scanner needs to be able to have 4 decimal places input (.0000) and if they're encrypted, oh well
