hey all, i have started moding my 06 350z. so far i have a mandrel bent catback system into canons, i have also gotten installed a bmc cda carbon dynamic air box. i have also just purchased a haltech platinum interceptor not installed yet.

i want to add on some xforce extractors and some plenum spacers, then get the interceptor added and car tuned

does any one have any other ideas on how i can increase power before i start spending money on turbos and what not ( presently saving to get a twin turbo kit next year  )

That's just about all you can do before it starts costing heaps, eg if you opened it up to work on the head it probably in the end be cheaper to get a twin turbo kit.

Work on suspension, don't need heaps of power for a quick car...

depends on how far you want to take it man.

Having owned a 350z, If you plan to keep it NA I would say upgrade the entire exhaust system. Change the Y pipe, Catback, CATS and headers (although this can be pricey). The amuse exhaust system is made of titanium and has an extremely sexy exhaust note.

The plenum spacer is a great mod for the zed as it makes it pull alot better top end. The intake is kinda a useless mod and really does not do much for performance except for engine bay bling and perhaps a bit of sound.

NA mods for the zed is fairly limited, another thing you could look into is changing the final drive? This may help improve response?

BUT

If money is no object then I would simply say just to TT it.

Then don't waste your money on NA mods. None of the NA powertrain mods can be retained when you go TT, aside from the plenum spacer.

An 06 should also have the REVUP engine, that doesn't really need the plenum spacer.

Or you could go to www.350z-tech.com, that has a strong Australian membership and plenty of technical information already.
