Hks Evc Settings

I am a bit confuse how to set my HKS EVC 6

the thing i am confuse with is the "Boost MAP Correction Mode"

The thing i dont get is that u

- Correction Boost, 40kpa

- throttle opening sxis to 0%

- RPM axis to 30 x100rpm

Does this setting mean that i am goin to get 40kpa when the car is at 3k rev???

The list of mods i hav on my GTT are:

-Full Exhaust

-Air filter

-Splitfire

-HKS fuel pump

-FMIC

Is that a good settings to hav on my car???

the manual is confusing and it is better I think to find a place with the software that can

program the boost controller. Unless you have a particular issue it is best to set it up with

a target boost rate - and switch off all the various mapping modes it has. The initialization

procedure is very important as well. If that isn't done right it won't behave right.

the think is that my MAP is set to 85Kpa and when i drive sometimes it hits 119kpa.... or sometime the car will just choke( apparently its a safely feature on the GTT stock ecu). wat i want is to have full boost around the 4k mark. and hold it at around 90kpa.

Do i need to reset my evc??

If i do since the turbo side of thing is stock wat would i set my exhaust bypass be??

Swinging valve or Poppet valve type?

can't help you further, one tuning shop I went to didn't install it right. Second place couldn't program it right,

final place, an HKS dealer, seems to be on top of it.
