Torques
Many thanks for the information ... much appreciated. Could somebody please fill me in on the R32ECU vs. R33ECU? VVT to me is a mechanical system that changes the duration/valve timing. Is the R33ECU somehow managing the VVT? PM-R33
Yes it activates it and switches it off at a pre-assigned RPM point. Torques
Yes it activates it and switches it off at a pre-assigned RPM point. Alright, So it seems there is no easy and 'cheap' way getting an ECU that does it all and involves a no clutter/plug and drive installation. I will start out by upping the boost via a ball/spring bleed valve so I get a feel for how the car reacts to more boost. In addition I have to buy a good boost gauge. I found one with a peak hold and peak warn function: Boost gauge I think it looks promising ... PM-R33
Hmmm gauges look allright. Run 10psi through it and it'll love it. SiR_RB
even the r34 gtt turbo is limited to 12 - 13ish PSI, due to the fact that they have the ceramic rear exhaust turbine. although they have the slightly bigger rear housing they can make abit more power... chopsider
what s the size of the 33 s2 turbs? Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/279831-r33gts-s2-is-there-a-turbo-drop-in-replacement/page/2/#findComment-4749960 Share on other sites
PM-R33
Same size as a series I turbo. They are no different in power other than the series II turbo spools up by a bee's dick quicker.
