Aerial Modifications To R33 S2 Gts

hey guys. just curious to know if anyone has deleted the auto aerial on the rear quarter panel on their cars and what they replaced the aerial with? i want to weld up the hole but dont know what to use instead of the original one that doesn't look so old school?

maybe someone knows of a modern new stubby type aerial that fits nicely?

i used an aftermarket internal arial from strathfield car radio - it connects to your rear demister wiring to use that as an arial

granted its not as good as the stock arial, but works well enough for those times that i use the radio at all.

Delete the aerial and don't worry about out. Sif you need to listen to the radio, that's what CD's are for.

I'm going to shave mine off one day.
