Apologies in advance for a question that has most likely been covered, but I have no internets at home and zero time at work to search (had a quick search but nothing)

I need to ship a car from Melbourne to Hobart, who have you used? and how much (ballpark $$ is fine)

I would like to go over to pick it up and shoot back on the boat, but just dont have the time at the moment.

Thanks guys ;)

pay a mate to do it? prob cheaper than shipping lol. a quote my mate got was like 1000 from SA for a car, and like 600 from melbourne.

get a friend or do it your self, cost a fortune and there is no way i would trust some shipping guy that probably gets paid stuff all and drives a shitty HQ ute to drive my car.

I had a blast flying over and picking my car up and sailing back.

Make time and do it your self ;)

yeah throw a mate a fiddy and get him to bringit back for ya. last time we took a track car on the spirit they almost crushed the rail, so you gotta make sure they're doin things properly so send someone you can trust to look out for ya.

I would recommened to go over your self. I went over the other week to get my GTR and it was great fun. Went Sat afro and on the boat that night. I had a cabin on the boat which was great. I was chatting to a father and son from Lindisfarne who went to melbourne to buy a car. It only cost me about $485 $365 for car and cabin and $120 for Airfare but sure you can get it cheaper. Also at least you know the car is being looked after.
