All them Jap cars are running full drag slicks and are far from street registered, still impressive for the time period back in the day. Fair bit of difference between say 17" Mickey T Et streets and 15" Hoosier Drag Slicks

The car was weighed at the jamboree, with me and all my race gear the car went 1516KG without me the car was 1440KG, and that was only half a tank of fuel roughly 20L,

No doubt!

I was just mentioning it so people didn't make wild claims and look silly :)

Your car is massively impressive!!!

Awesome effort on breaking the 9 sec barrier!

It looks like you did it a hell of a lot easier than the guys in that old Jap footage... Even with the help of slicks a couple of them were fighting the car the whole way down the track. By comparison your pass almost looks boring - so it shows how much better your suspension and aero setup must be.

Maximum traction on take off, u can actually see the tyre marks u have left like a mini tramp...is that expected with your power level?

Also, why did u decide to stick with the 2.6ltr capacity?

It's a JUN 2.7 mofo :D

Hi mate, we have a JUN 2.7L stroker but swapped the oversized pistons for a brand new set of standard bore size CP pistons, its still retains 2.6L, and why 2.6???? because they rev hard and for some reason everyone thinks more Capasity is better. But not for what we want to do. 3+Litres are just slow reving and sound like shit.

I agree with u 100% that the 3ltr is slower revving and don't sound anywhere near to that of a 2.6 - I can make this statement as I've had both...2.6 all the way :)

Amazing Ben! Will watch videos when i get home for some more ear porn oooh yeah :D

Sucks about the gearbox, tends to happen though when going as hard as you are.

What is the next event you are aiming for?

They probably were...it's been a while :)

Definitely fastest/quickest H-pattern street GTR either way.

Looks like there is plenty left in, too.

Ah the old term "street".
