no idea, that IP's not on our banned list, nor is that domain that is resolves to.

did you check with the notwork admin at R T Edwards? interestingly there's another user who uses that same IP to access the forum (altho not for a long while)... JamesR32.

yeah i asked the it admin at work and he said it wasn't to do with there end... james 32 lives in harvey bay now and has sold his R32 that he had ... all it comes up with is board message - sorry you can't access the forums.. and says the menu is locked.. so i don't know

hmm might have somethign to do with the routing through a virtual proxy or something. can you check the settings that your internet connection/browser is using to see if there's any autoconfig or proxies enabled?

i'll have a check tomorrow.. it's been happening for awhile but have only now gotten back on the site. i have also tried it on more and 2 different computers but all the ones at work you would think would be configured the same anyway. i'll ceck for the proxy thing tomorrow.

i had another it guy at work have a look and he can't see why it is not working.. its not like their blocking the site because if they did i wouldn't be able to even bring up the error page.. fyi i'm at mcdonalds on a lunch break on a customers laptop :P... i've tried different settings in ie7 and still nothing.. so yeah i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place atm.

Well... clearly if you are using other people's and its working... its not us.

Do they block certain IP's, URL's and so on?

I wouldnt be surprised if they are picking up an ad link and blocking that way.

Either way mate - its your end.
