Hey guys, i had another amp installed in my car (500watt kenwood), U guys reckon that that could be the reason why my whole system sounds softer? like i realised after it was installed the whole system is HEAPS softer..

Is it possible for me to unplug the amp to see if it makes a difference?

Certainly is possible to unplug it and see.

Firstly try unpluging the RCA's first and see if that changes anything. Secondly, try removing the remote turn on wire for the amp (removing it from the power grid) and see if that changes anything.

When the amp was installed was the system re-tuned at all?

yer it was retuned, but since then ive played with the gains, nothing seems to make it as loud as before
