Boost Conversion

Can anyone settle this for me? , Recently i bought a new gauge for my car but it reads the boost in bars , after i threw it in the car i took it for a spin and it read 0.5 bar can anyone tell me what this is in Psi i was told 7 but then again my car is suppose to run 10 (standard) from what I have been was made to understand , is my gauge reading accurate or is my information source rusty ?

o.k i have another mate just tell me that his runs the same as mine 0.5 bar he says that its standard reading for GTR R32 ?

standard is about 0.8 bar~ 11.5 psi

r33 GTR is 0.84 bar ~ 12 psi

But thats max so just make sure your at about 5000 rpm before you check it.

I run on my GTS 0.70 bar which is exactly 10psi.

I was told 1.0 bar is 14.7psi.

yeah 1.0 bar = 14.3psi = 760mmHg

use your head to do conversions:

x bar (yuor reading) * 14.3 = your reading in psi

or

x bar (your reading) / 7.6 * 14.3 = your reading in mmHg for those who have a stok boost gauge on a gtst...
