Probably wise not to argue it to em on the spot or they would have just scrutinised your car for something else.

As has been said, if the police want to find something wrong with your car they will. It is a very, very small minority of cars on the road that could flawlessly pass inspection with a chip on his shoulder cop.

I read or had heard, so dont know the accuracy, that most NEW cars leaving the car lot for the first time are often defectable. It would take a seriously pissed off and/or OCD cop to bother but nonetheless the defects are still there.

Anyone know if they targeted Burwood Hwy/Vermont last time they ran this ?

It was more Knox City than anywhere else. I didn't see any cop cars around V-town, but that's hardly a stretch from Knox so I would still be careful hehe.

Well lucky for me I don't have to visit my mate in Dandenong anytime this weekend

Last time I visited him (when the last blitz was on)...I got pulled up 3 times and had my car checked out....One in Dandenong and then again in the City and last on CityLink (that was a booze bus)
