Stagea Speedo (m35)

Is there an easy way to adjust the M35 Stagea speedo?

The falcon allows for a -/+10 adjustment, does the Stagea?

Speedo is out by ~4 under 80, then slowly creeps up to 7 when @ 110. I'd like to lower the speed the speedo reports by 5 if possible.

I don't think there is any easy adjustment of the speedo.

It may be possible using an aftermarket speedo adjuster.

You can buy a thing called "Speedo Healer", used this on my last sportsbike when I altered the final drive gearing by 9%. Allowed me to get the speed exactly right, also had a maximum speed recall function.

Unit was about the size of a matchbox, I bought a brand specific one for my model of bike; had harness plugs to wire straight inline. They do a universal one though.

Cost was around $120, would probably be a bit more now.

Jaycar sell a speedo correction device - KC5435 (about $60) will adjust up to 95% but of course you have to build it first.

thing being that car gets its speed signal off the ABS system so its not that easy to modify.

Possible causes in that case? AFAIK the wheels and tyres are all normal sizes.

It ain't a great problem, once my CarPC goes in I'll have the digital speedo (from a GPS).
